Since Monday I talked about what to eat to fuel your body … I thought I would share some of my favorite foods I have found to be both beneficial and delicious!

I feel so many people don’t even know where to begin when they walk into their local grocery store. There are distracting smells, colors, bright lights, etc …

Leading down danger aisles where your will power is over taken by the smells, and colors appealing to the eye.

Here are some great choices to stay on track that I really enjoy for each category!

Why are We Running a Challenge at All?

Why are We Running a Challenge at All?

There is a lot of effort that goes into running a Challenge (even one as well-organized as the WLC). Why bother at all?

While people don’t join a gym or go to work each day in order to participate in a Challenge, they do come to lead a better life. They come for leadership. They come to learn and contribute and be fulfilled. They come for more.

Participating in the Whole Life Challenge might be completely outside the context of what they think they need, but more likely than not, it contains one (or more) of the things they’re missing from their […] Read more

Don’t Worry .. Be Happy CPM!

Don’t Worry .. Be Happy CPM!

When I was reading my “Darren Daily” this morning he had a quote from the legend Jim Rohn.

“In order to be happy you have to choose to be happy, you have to plan to be happy, and prepare to be happy then you will find Happiness.” – Jim Rohn

I believe so many of us “expect” happiness and are not wiling to go out and find it.

Do you even know what makes you truly happy? That is the first step to ask yourself the tough question ..

“What is it that makes me truly happy?”

What small habits or choices can […] Read more

Change YOUR Word(s) = “I Don’t Have Time”

Change YOUR Word(s) = “I Don’t Have Time”

Each week, we are all entrusted with an irreplaceable fund of hours…168, to be exact. How you spend these hours is entirely up to you. You can putter around, watching hours and hours of Law & Order reruns. Or you can set about to change your community, or maybe even the entire world.

It just depends on how you choose to spend your fund of hours.

But to say that you don’t have time? Well, that’s garbage. You do have time—you have 168 hours.

A few years ago, I read an article in the Wall Street Journal that suggested we replace the phrase, […] Read more

#lightBulbMoment… Simple not Easy

#lightBulbMoment… Simple not Easy

I finally realized the definition of “Simple but not Easy”.

It’s very simple when you accept how difficult it is… WOW!

What that means to me; So many people downplay beliefs/goals/dreams in their lives. They underachieve because of Fear/Entitlement/Perfectionism. And when we realize (and accept) humility in our lives it changes EVERYTHING! My Life can be really simple when… Love God, Yourself, Family+Friends, and your Life. People by nature, are flawed and sinners, which is what makes life ‘not easy‘. We have to rise above the noise… Stay focused… Stay committed… It takes a ton of work (especially upfront)… But when we do; […] Read more
