A Fresh Start

The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting cooler and the leaves are starting to change color…. and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

Seasons can play an important role in our lives and health. Fall represents change. I am a 24/7 type of person. Always needing to be busy. The fall season provides me with the necessary break from the daily hustle. It’s a time for re-evaluation and setting new goals.

This is where the WLC (whole life challenge) comes into play for me. There is nothing better than a fresh start. With the WLC we get a chance to reset our old ways of thinking and behaving. By practicing daily habits we are able to change our health, happiness and quality of life.

The WLC is more than just a nutritional challenge. It challenges us on areas that are often missed such as sleep, hydration, stress management and personal growth. My greatest learning’s have come through making mistakes, trying new things, my love for knowledge and willingness to learn something new about myself.

The WLC is a way to re-connect with goals and aspirations. Am I really doing all that I can to be healthier, fitter and stronger? Truthfully the answer is NO. There is definitely room for improvement. I believe that the WLC is just part of the puzzle. It’s the piece that will help me get closer to the results I am striving for and to top it off I am able to help and support others in the process!

30 KB Swings
30 Jump Squats with empty bar
30 BB Push Press
30 2-touch Sit-ups
30 Wall Balls
**200m run every 4 minutes**
