Fitness for me started at very young age. I was known as the big girl on the block. I started off with playing T-ball and soccer which progressed to basketball and volleyball. I have always been driven to beat the odds, especially after learning what prognosis my parents were given following my diagnosis of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. I had a gift and I didn’t want it to go to waste. This attitude stuck and I was given the opportunity to play collegiate soccer and basketball.
After college I was on my own. I spent years yo-yo dieting, running and performing at home workout DVDs. I was not a class person. I like to do things on my own; however I knew there was more out there for me to accomplish. After meeting the Mello’s through the physical therapy office I work at and a little outside pressure, I succumbed. And I have no regrets!
When I am not coaching classes, I am licensed physical therapist, assistant high school soccer coach, a mom of two amazing kids and a wife to my best friend.
My goal here at CPMFitness is to inspire others to find their drive.
I want to people to walk away from their workouts feeling accomplished.
We all have roadblocks but knowing that we are worth the effort can go a long ways. Can’t wait to see you at the gym!
