Allow Me to Introduce Myself

$1>I am a CrossFitter. I am a CrossFit athlete. I am a CrossFit Coach. And until recently a former box owner.

Having the ability to dramatically improve someone’s health and fitness is fascinating to me. I became a personal coach/trainer in 2001 to empower myself with the knowledge and the skills to enhance my physical body and mental capacity. I am a student of fitness and healthy living, and I am continually searching for new ways to improve myself and the ways in which I can affect people in a positive and supportive way.

I understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and different ways of living. I believe I can connect with each person and inspire them to live healthier by first, helping them to be aware of their  present fitness and health and the choices that they have made. Then, to educate them to make healthier and  more positive choices. Lastly, to integrate and take action toward creating permanent habits that are a better personal “fit”.

My passion for began over 10 years ago as a dedicated athlete in the sport of basketball excelling into the collegiate level. I was born and raised in Southern California.

In 2008, my wife, Annie, and I decided to shake our lives up and move to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she was born. Knowing 3 people in the entire state we started a CrossFit affiliate, CrossFit Sioux Falls (the 1st in the state), and grew it into a near 200 member gym.

We sold our business in December of 2010 and are in the process of packing our bags to move back to our home of Sunny Southern California.

My goal with this blog is:

FOR FUN: FITness is a passion to me. I love to learn everyday. And I love to share that knowledge with those that want to learn as well. I know this blog will help hold me accountable to continue to learn consistently. Posts will vary in topics ranging from informational to inspirational to comical etc… The language will be sassy, educated yet informal, NOT P.C., and will ask YOU a lot of questions. Followers and viewers are HIGHLY encouraged to ask questions, comment on posts (good, bad or indifferent) and request topics.

TO HELP PEOPLE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Motivation is will get you moving in the right direction. Inspiration lasts a lifetime. The core of this blog is designed to educate and empower you. I will ask the important questions to get you to think for yourself. Ignorance is bliss and there is a lot of CRAP out there. I will provide you information about the TRUTH. Stuff out there that works and stuff out there that is a waste of your time. Nothing makes me more irritated then seeing that latest fad that is a bunch of bullsh*t!

To establish myself as AN ONLINE FITNESS PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONALITY: I want to develop a reputation with a unique, fun and educated approach as a health and FITness professional. I will network with and use ideas from various other FITness blogs to info and bring awareness to the readers.

To Build a Business: Promote my personal coaching/training services throughout the West LA and South Bay area in Sunny Southern California. I provide virtual coaching/consulting. And aspire to write for high profile health and FITness publications.
