Are You Up For the Challenge?

Are You Up For the Challenge?

When you hear the word challenge, how does it make you feel? Do you think of it as a negative thing? Do you run the other way? Or are you one who is always looking for the next challenge?

I recently had a client tell me that they have NEVER completed a challenge. WHY? The fear of failure.
Many of us have probably experienced this at one time or another but what if we changed our mindset on the word “challenge” itself.

Here are a few definitions of challenge:
• A call or summons to engage in a contest or competition, especially a duel (a dare)
• An objection to the truth of something (dispute), often with a demand for proof

One word that stands out is engage. A challenge can simply mean to take part in a new activity. Trying something new. Changing up our normal routines. A challenge can even reveal hidden potential and help us discover new things about ourselves.

The WLC is simply a tool do to just that. Practicing daily habits may force us to engage with greater focus and effort but that may be the ticket to break away from our limitations to becoming the best version of ourselves.
