I love going to yoga conferences. I love being surrounded by yogis from all walks of life and backgrounds. I had the opportunity to attend the Minneapolis Yoga Conference this past weekend and it was so much fun. The variety of classes and teachers is so invigorating to me. It kicks me out of my rut and exposes me to new ideas and flows and styles. I find myself making mental notes during the classes to bring back inspiring flows or thoughts to my classes. Nothing recharges my teaching batteries like getting to be the student myself.

Monday: Get the week started with some core work. Then we have a farmer carry, walking lunges and HS taps.
Tuesday: Part A is med ball cleans with Toe 2 Bar. Part B is a great partner workout with Deadlifts, KB swings and running.
Wednesday: 10 rounds of pull-ups, goblet squats, and running.
Thursday: An amazing for time workout of rowing, burpees, ball slams, russian twists and running. Don’t miss it!

Tuesday: Barbell work with the Snatch. Part B is rowing, KB swings and pull-ups.
Wednesday: Odd objects day starts with a suitcase carry, wtd step-ups and HS hold.
Thursday: Running and Clean and Jerks, should be nice enough to get outside 2.0!
Friday: Two 10 minute AMRAP’s, start with pull-ups and double unders and finish with deficit push-ups and plate snatch.

You are strong enough.
This week I am taking a break from my usual videos to talk about patience and progress.
It can be very easy in the beginning to see results and to feel great and to challenge our bodies and our minds past what we were used to. Eventually the results aren’t coming as fast and it can be easy to get discouraged about what we are doing. Monday: Fun shoulder work with Strict Press. Great partner workout with some rowing, rope climbs, KB swings, and push-ups.
Tuesday: 2k row for time. Then an AMRAP of farmer carry, sit-ups and doubles.
Wednesday: Barbell fun with Front Squats (from the floor). Getting you ready for some squat cleans, running and T2B.
Thursday: All about the gymnasty work with pistols and wall walks.
Friday: Start with some ab work and finish strong with rowing, KB swings, sit-ups, box jumps and dips.

Who’s ready for some amazing workouts!
It’s hard to believe the Crossfit Open is here again. Seems like we were just watching the games! The excitement around the announcements, workouts and clues is all over the place and the enthusiasm is contagious. We have some amazing people competing and I thought what better way to keep everyone healthy and moving than a little yoga!

Quick Shoulder Stretch Break!
It’s been a while since we’ve done a Mod Squad Mini, so I thought it was time for another video to help you sneak some stretching into your day. Stretch breaks don’t need to be complicated or take up a lot of time and today’s video is perfect to help undo the stress of being on our phones or computers all day.
