CPM Fitness Sandwich Ideas …

A common love for people especially over the lunch hour is the “sandwich”. I remember my grandpa used to literally (and probably still does) turn anything and everything possible into a sandwich. It is amazing how many wonderful things you can do with just two slices of bread. Well it is also amazing how much you can do with ingredients other than bread and still get that delicious sandwich taste and feel.

I have given you some variety to experiment with different ways to make the perfect lunch time treat.

#1 Coconut Wraps – These are great treats and taste so great you won’t even notice you don’t have the tortilla.

#2 Portobella Mushrooms: If you want to create that “bun” taste in a sandwich this is the perfect scenario. The mushroom provides the bun feel with the healthy results.

#3 Lettuce Leaves – Lettuce wraps are trending everywhere you look. Grab a leaf of lettuce, layer your ingredients of choice and simply roll it up. You now have a perfect hand-held sandwich.

# 4 Apples: This is like dessert in a sandwich. You can use two apple rounds and place a yummy nut butter, banana, chocolate chips, coconut shreds, cinnamon etc … This is a great snack and/or a delicious treat to have anytime of the day.

#5 Sweet Potatoes: Sweet potato is the top competitor to actually tasting better than bread! It it has that same warm comforting feeling without the negative side effects. Here are some great recipes to use to make this your most beloved treat!

Every 2 minutes, for 12 minutes (6 sets):

*Set 1 – 10 reps
*Set 2 – 10 reps
*Set 3 – 8 reps
*Set 4 – 8 reps
*Set 5 – 6 reps
*Set 6 – 6 reps
