What makes a person successful?
💵 Is it money?
🏃 Is it fitness/health?
😊 Is it being happy?
I found an article that said this. “Successful people don’t necessarily consider themselves successful because they’re rich or powerful. Instead, they often talk about relationships, well-being, and societal impact.” YES! As I was writing this blog, I was thinking this exact same thing. I feel I am successful. Why? Let me tell you.
I’m a happy person. It’s easy for me to be positive and I rarely struggle emotionally. I work hard to get what I want and for some reason I almost always do. I’ve never been motivated by money. I try to use it as a motivator but it doesn’t seem to work for me. The time of my life when I was most financially successful was also the unhappiest time of my life. I was working a lot and spending little time with my family. Leaving that line of work was the best decision I ever made. That being said, I do enjoy work especially if it’s a job where I can make an impact and help others.
Here are the top 3 things that I believe make me successful.
1️⃣ Giving more than I receive – I don’t ask for handouts nor do I expect them. Yes, I feel I am worth a lot but so is everyone else. Treat people with respect and give them what they are worth for their services.
2️⃣ Being kind – This is a no brainer. Kind and generous people do better in life. There is no reason to be anything but nice.
3️⃣ Doing what I love – Find a job that is fulfilling and something you love. We all need money to live (#truth) but someday when I look back on my life, I won’t regret the fact that I spent years helping adults and kids feel better.
Take a chance 🙏 Help others ⭐️ Do what you love ❤️
