Hello CPM I am Here to Introduce Myself …

The Mod Squad

Three years ago this January started like any other year, I again was trying to convince myself to try to eat better and maybe find a gym and to work out again, my usual resolutions. Finally my sister convinced me to come to a yoga class with her (I did not know at the time that it would be Annie’s FHY class) and afterwards I was intrigued. Everything about this gym was not what I expected. So I decided to give CPMFITness a try.

To say a lot has changed for me over these last 3 years would be an understatement. There has been a major physical change to be sure, but honestly the biggest change cannot be seen. It is a mental change, knowing that I am tougher and stronger than I thought. It is in the confidence I have to stand in front of a room of people and guide them through a yoga class or yelling encouragement during a workout. It is in a million new and exciting ways each and everyday that I challenge myself and I would not be the person I am without this amazing and supportive community, so now is my opportunity to give back.

Here is where I would insert a before/after shot.

Introducing “The Mod Squad,” a weekly blog post by me with short videos of yoga moves or moments to help you each week get closer to the goals and person you want to be. Yoga is a great way to keep our bodies healthy between workouts and to help improve workouts, but sometimes we are sore or something hurts so we need to adjust. The Mod Squad will give you the tools you need to make yoga work for you.

Now is your opportunity to let me know what want to see here. This is for you so be vocal!

Send your ideas and suggestions to TheModSquadSF@gmail.com.

Watch the newsletter and blog for an exciting upcoming announcement about Sunday yoga (you will not want to miss this)!
