Sleigh The Rower Status

The rowing challenge participants are becoming very familiar with the rower. You might have a few callouses on your hands and maybe a rash elsewhere? Regardless, we hope you are enjoying the challenge and taking advantage of the numerous open gym times. I found this article the other day and thought it had some good tips without being too long to lose my attention. Click HERE to read.

The list below will give you an idea of how many meters you should have as of Friday, December 5th to be on track to finish.

50,000 meters – You should have 14,288 meters so far.
100,000 meters – You should have 28,568 meters so far.
200,000 meters – You should have 57,144 meters so far.
If you are Annie or Nicole – You should have 156,349 meters so far :-)

Reflections, by Mother Plucker

My personal thoughts on another fantastic week at CPMFitness.

1. So my friend Meghan, a fellow member, pulled her hamstring racing a group of 3rd graders.  You might think a pulled hammy would keep you out of the gym but check this out!

2. When I see weighted pull-ups on the board, I think “that is just for show, no one actually does weighted pull-ups.” Turns out, I’m wrong.  I walk around with a 20 pound weight vest on each thigh every day.  I’m not about to wear one for a pull-up. Here is an impressive weighted pull-up we got to see at the gym the other day!

3. 150 burpees + 150 thrusters = Just Stay Home! Just kidding, that’s what my husband did :-)          150 burpees + 150 thrusters = One Awesome Workout!
