My Top Books in 2017

The tradition continues from last year list (2016 Top Books) of my top books for the year! Our mind is a powerful thing to waste. We focus some much of everything from the neck down. But your life can transform by simply focusing on the opposite, everything from the neck UP!

Everything we succeed with or struggle with all happens in the mind. Our thoughts become words. Words become actions. Actions turn into habits. Habits shape your character. And your character leads to your destiny.

The list below is not about physical FITness and all about Mental FITness.

5 Second Rule = HARD COVER AUDIO
This is my top book of the year! The author nails the topics of procrastination, depression, lacking motivation and productivity. Great one to listen too as it keeps your attention and motivates you to make action. The big GC (game-changer) for me was, “You can’t change how you feel. You can only change how you act.

Never Split the Difference = HARD COVER AUDIO
Everyone of us uses sales and negotiation everyday of our lives to get what we want. Chris Voss (author) is a retired FBI negotiator that brings the strategies and tactics he used in his career to the business and personal world. So may legit principles to help you become so much more competent in communication, sales and negotiating. I found this better as a hard cover read then listening too.

What Doesn’t Kill Us = HARD COVER / AUDIO
Optimal health is much more than diet and exercise. Something to consider adding in your life is cold and breathing therapy. It can dramatically increase your recovery, immunity and energy right away! The lightbulbs I found in this book was; info about brown fat, cold showers, heaving breathing. Better hardcover read then listening to on audio.

Profit First = HARD COVER / AUDIO
I personally got a ton out of this as it is written to small business owners. However, there is a ton of crossover to personal finances and translating the methods and mindset to your health and wellness. Plus the author is very witty and entertaining. Just as good of a listen then a paperback read.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ckHARD COVER / AUDIO
I just started this one and will finish before the year end. But I can already say this can be a game changer about enlightening you about re-framing your mindset about goals and  your priorities. Today’s society has delivered us a bunch of B.S. about how to achieve goals and provided us happiness. This book will give you completely different approach.
