Spring Cleaning Done Right at CPM ….

It’s Spring Cleaning and although it is a tedious, daunting chore; cleaning out the clutter is the greatest feeling when you are done!

Here are the top five tops to a successful Spring Cleaning …

1. Turn Your Hangers Around :

Turn all your clothes hangers in the reverse direction. After you wear an item, return it with the hanger facing the correct direction. This way you be able to see what clothes you wear and what clothes you don’t.

2. 12-12-12 Challenge

Quickly locate 12 items to toss 12 to donate, and 12 put back to their proper home. This challenge became a quick competition between the husband/wife, kids, and even the dog.
3. The Four-Box Method.

Bring out four boxes: trash, give away, keep, or relocate. Each item in every room was placed into one of the four categories. No item was passed over. Each was considered individually. Some projects will take an hour… others days or weeks. But the technique and principles remained the same.

4. A Questionable Mind = A Clutter Free Home –

Ask yourself questions like, “If I was buying this now, how much would I pay?” or, “If I was moving into a smaller home tomorrow, would I take this object?” These creative techniques can be helpful for someone having a tough time tossing.
5. Get things off the floor
Whenever possible, keep things off the floor, This makes it easier to see and keeps the floor free of chaos. This is especially useful in the garage and playrooms where you can hang rakes, garden implements, tools, etc and place toys, activities, and games; making them much easier to find.

Now you can live a clutter-free life and get to the gym more often with ease!
