I am in a bible study and the book that we are working on is called “Proven” by Jennie Allen ….

It is a great study that digs deep into why we don’t need to “Prove” anything to anyone, and how living in “prove” mode is detrimental to your health and wellness.

This bible study has been very life altering for me. My whole life I have made my drive within about proving to others, my family, friends etc how hardworking I am. How in shape I am in, how determined I am ..

and It’s exhausting physically and mentally!

Stop living in “Prove” mode ..meaning “Proving” you have to be better than your co worker, out perform people at the gym, out dress those around etc …

It is like you are on a treadmill that will never stop! It is a constant struggle to try to out do, out perform, out work and its never going to fulfill you the way you ultimately want to be fulfilled!

Stop listening to people who don’t feel good about themselves and are trying to put their insecurities onto you …

Take the pressure off yourself and realize you don’t need to “Prove” yourself to anyone! If you look at some of the most successful people in the world they went against the flow and stood up for what they believed and didn’t care to “prove” to anyone they were confident on their mission and what they were here to do!

Stop basing your values on what other’s think. Don’t let your identity be who others want let it be what you want!
