TGIN… Thank Goodness It’s November!

Goodbye October… Hello November!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m actually happy that October is over. We can move past the Halloween candy, pumpkin this, pumpkin that and start thinking about Thanksgiving, Christmas and, let’s not forget, the rowing challenge!

So we still have this Whole Life Challenge thing going on and I have to admit I’m pretty much over it. I’m trying to maintain what I’ve gained/lost thus far but I’m tired of posting my results each night and getting a “score” for the day. So I need a new challenge. Maybe I need a challenge plan.

  • November – Continue to stretch, add more hip mobility to my shoulder mobility. Participate in the rowing challenge, probably at a low meter option.
  • December – Try not to gain weight.
  • January – Back to Whole 30 or Whole Life Challenge eating. We have a tropical vacation the first week of February. That means I need to be bikini ready… bye bye breves!

With the holidays on the way, I also need to keep my stress level in check. High Stress = High Sugar for me. I comfort myself with sugary treats or treat myself because I’m stressed and “deserve” it. So maybe it’s a few more dried mangos over the next couple months to curb my sweet tooth. That’s better than candy bars, pumpkin spice lattes and cake.

I love a good plan. Now let’s see if I can stick to it. Happy November everyone!
