One of my favorite yoga poses!

 

Triangle is amazing pose to get an amazing stretch.  It is a great pose to work in to your practice everyday.

Triangle Tips:

1. Triangle is the perfect pose to experiment with props.  A block, a chair, even your own body (just move the hand further up your leg) can help you get the most out of this pose.

2. Try to keep your chest and shoulders open and reach that top hand nice and tall.  It can be easy to let our open shoulder collapse and to round the upper back and defeat the purpose of the pose (hint: use a block!).

3. Looking to get into the lower back, add a twist! Again it allows you to open the chest and to play with leg placement. Bending or straightening the front leg allows you to vary the stretch on the outside of your leg.
