Why NOT You??

Each and every day, there are people all around the country and world who are living their dreams. Millionaires are made every day. Families are experiencing tremendous relationships. People are becoming more and more healthy. Lifelong learners are growing intellectually and improving their chances for success.

The fact is that living the life of your dreams is possible. People prove that every day. Someone somewhere is going to get rich, get healthy and improve their life. So my question to you is, “Why Not You?”

I read a post a a while back by the Fitness Superstar, Tony Horton:
I’m doing the best I can to help folks learn to be fit and healthy. When I was out of shape and eating fast food (oh yes it’s true) I was in a very bad way. It was hand to mouth from age 21 (no more Mom and Dad) to about age 43. Twenty two plus years of wondering how to pay rent, feed my face and pay my bills. Scary times indeed. time was working for a better and life and staying hopeful in the process.

Here is guy who is a mega superstar that came from nothing. He was probably is a worse position than you are in currently. Not only did he improve his life but he surpassed everyone else along the way.

Every day you have the chance to improve your life. Whether you do or not is your responsibility.

Maybe you’ve said, “So how can I can I improve my life? I have no clue where to start??”

Let break it down to 3 very simple actions.

The first and most important is COMMITMENT. You must make a commitment to work on YOU! Nothing will change if you don’t change. Know that it will not be easy. Know that you will struggle, hit roadblocks and be challenged. It is all a part of the growing process. You are going to want to run back to your old ‘comfortable’ ways. Know that when you officially commit yourself to improve, there is no turning back! But when you commit yourself to you, now have a chance to succeed. There are others out there in the world that are making a commitment to themselves. Why Not You?

The second is to make a PLAN. Once you have decided to commit yourself to be better you need a plan to get your there. The great thing about this step is that it doesn’t have to be a big, long, complicated plan. It just has to be simple. Save a dollar a day. Go to the gym today. Make that call you haven’t made, NOW! Make it simple so it is achievable! Someone is going to develop a plan that will lead them to their goals. Why Not You?

The third is to ACT. Everyone has a great idea. It is easy to think but hard to act. The key to achievement is action. Anyone can talk a great game, but that is why the old saying rings true, ‘Action speaks louder than words’. The ones who act are the ones who will learn and experience how to succeed. Someone will act today. Why Not You?
It is time you stop looking at what others have and wishing you were there. It is time you begin to commit to yourselves, develop a plan and act on it. People do it every day.
