Don’t Miss the “CPM Total”

“Be proud of your hard work and accomplishments, but never be completely satisfied and never forget you’re not the only one out there working hard. You can always do more, do better, and help others do the same.” — Greg Everett

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm I introduce to you our next lifting event in Sioux Falls — the CPM Total. This is something that I have been very passionate about, and now it’s coming together.

So, save the date for Saturday, November 14th!

What is the CPM Total?

The CPM total is a Olympic weightlifting test happening right here in Sioux Falls.

This event will test your abilities in the snatch, clean and jerk, and  the front squat. At the end, you will know what you are capable of lifting, as well as what you need to work on in terms of mobility, strength, and speed.

How Does The Event Work?

We will set up CPMFitness in the Western Mall for three different lifts. Each participant with have 30 minutes to complete the three different lifts to find your total. This will take 90 minutes.

We created a hard copy scorecard for the CPM Total participants, and you will use this to track your scores. You can then save and reference these scores in the future.

What Are the Olympic Weightlifting Events?

In this order, the participants will perform a single maximal effort for:

  • Snatch (1 rep)
  • Clean and jerk (1 rep)
  • Front squat (1 rep)

You will have 30 minutes to warm up and find your one-rep max. You’re allowed three attempts at a max weight.

Who Is Welcome?

If you are comfortable with a barbell, then you are welcome to join us! We have opened this event for everyone — whether you’re a member at CPMFitness or not.

If you don’t know where you are at strength-wise, then this event is for you! Let’s see where you are physically so we can work together to make you better.

So, keep your morning free on Saturday, November 14th. Get excited and stay tuned for more details!
