The Combine is coming and we are getting pumped!

With gym wide events like these you will find there are a few different types of candidates…

1. Re-Test #s = How FIT are You?

•Data Driven (#s don’t lie)
•Chasing Performance
•Before and After

Consider this category as the members who have been apart of CPM for a while (2-5+ years). Some have been here long enough to participate in the first 2 Combines back in 2014 RESULTS HERE and 2015. What a great opportunity to get some real data on various aspects of your FITness from then to NOW!

One of the great things about CPM workouts is we base most every workout on some type of data and numbers. You can find real objective measures too…

  • Define progress
  • Find opportunities for growth and/or…
  • Course correction for future gains 💪🏼

2. Establish Benchmarks = Test Your Abilities

•Create Some Context
•Become Purpose Driven
•No more “fitness for the sake of fitness”

Those that fall into this category are most likely newer to CPM and Functional FITness / High Intensity type workouts.

Just like #1 using data to measure FITness can be incredibly useful and powerful to drive results.

Based on our natural human error I believe all of us have more room for growth. We all have the ability to do more than we think. If you are working on your…. 1st Pull-up, Toe to Bar, Double Under, etc… this event is the best environment to test your abilities.

3. Wake Up Call 

•Long time CPMer who maybe stuck in a state of a stagnate routine
•Finding/Chasing your challenge within yourself is a BIG key for lasting motivation and results.

WHY is the combine different? What’s in it for me? (WIIFM) 

The Combine will create a heightened type of experience for all of you participating. If you’ve been apart of our Friday Night Lights (LINK) you know what I’m talking about.

A Competitive Event like this can bring out the best in you. I fully believe that you can not recreate the environment, intensity and your highest level of performance during the heat of this great event.

Participating will put you in the game with like minded motivated CPM members which will result in raising the expectation for yourself. You will operate at a much higher level because everyone else is operating at a  much higher level. And by you pushing yourself you in turn will push others  around you. It is infectious!

As human beings we are either growing or dying. There is no middle road. Whether you’ve been in great shape in the past or never really pushed yourself out of your comfort zone consider this your next best opportunity to “Shake things Up” and crush your 2020!
