I am an achiever. Every year Annie and I sit down towards the end of the year stretching out to the start of the new year and SET OUR GOALS for the year.

Goal setting (like anything in life) can be as simple or as complex as you make it.

Due to my burning desire to create a great life I fall into the trap of making Goal Setting way more complex and sophisticated than it needs to be ending up in some frustration and confusion.

My ONE WORD for 2020 = FOCUS

Focus is something I’ve always needed and wanted in my life. The more I focus the better things get. I used to think it was preparation / discipline (and those were to a point) but not ultimately what I needed. I love action and ideas and like to jump from one thing to next. That is what gets me in trouble. I would continue to add responsibilities / tasks to my plate, switch gears to often or too early and wonder why I lack what I want. I will procrastinate as a crutch and frustrate myself as a result. My best results over the last few years is when I bite down and focus on something.

Prepare to see a much more concise, deliberate and diligent 2020 from me this year.
