“Non-Obvious” Reasons to Make Fitness Part of Your Life

We believe fitness needs to be a huge part of your life! Shocker, right? ? There are a host of obvious reasons to stay fit, with which you’re likely familiar:

  • Lose weight
  • Improve blood chemistry
  • Improve energy
  • Increase Strength
  • Look better naked
  • The list goes on

But, there are a lot of “non-obvious” reasons to have a committed fitness routine.

“Non-Obvious Reasons to Stay Fit”

These are reasons that make those obvious reasons above seem minimal. These “non-obvious” reasons are much more impactful and fulfilling.

1. The Highest Energy Always Wins

In every area of life (family, social setting, and especially business), the more fit, healthy, and energized person is going to win every single time.

I work on my training and my fitness because I want to be operating at my best for a longer period of time throughout the day.

2. You’ll Keep the Promises You Make to Yourself.

Fitness is the main area where you can control whether or not you KEEP the promises you make to yourself.

This is how self-confidence is built. Your diet and your fitness are areas that you can completely control, and you don’t rely on the behaviors of others to contribute.

One of the fastest ways to build your self-confidence is by committing to your fitness and nutrition plans.

3. You Deserve to Feel and Look Good

Simply looking and feeling good about yourself makes all the difference.

We get out of life what we believe we are worth, and getting fit and healthier is truly treating yourself more kindly. It’s a gift you give yourself, that says “I’m worth being healthier; I deserve more energy, and to feel great about myself.”

Changing what you believe you are worth will dramatically impact how you influence people and attract others into your life. You will feel better about yourself. You will feel like you’re worthy and deserve more success, happiness, and bliss.

I’m not suggesting you have to have big muscles or be a the fittest person you know. What I am saying is that you should do something to move your body every single day so that you have the advantage of health and energy in all areas of your life.

What is the most important thing you have in your life beyond your faith and relationships? It’s your health!

4. You Are Training for Your Life

Whether you are a competitive athlete or not, when you train your best you earn more than a trophy, social proof, or validation from others. You are training for any trials or tribulations that life will throw your way.

Committing to a great training program and what it takes to succeed will teach you valuable lessons about all aspects of your life. All the setbacks are not losses, but lessons. The blood, sweat, and tears that it takes to commit will build and shape your mentality. Finally, the accountability it takes to succeed will translate into other areas of your life.

You will learn what it takes to attack and navigate through any challenge life will throw your way. The better you are trained, the better you are equipped for life!
