You know what fall brings at CPM — another nutrition challenge!
Each year, our nutrition challenge is a member favorite that helps everyone get back in track after a busy summer of travel and — let’s face it — probably a lot of hot dogs and ice cream. 😉
You may have participated in last year’s #800gChallenge. This year’s challenge is similar but with a CPM-spin!
What’s the Challenge?
Beginning September 10, participants will aim to hit five different daily goals for five weeks. You’ll earn one point for each goal you hit, with a possible maximum of five points daily.
Protein = 1 Point
Eat 0.7 grams of protein per pounds of body weight. For example, a 200-lb male would aim for 140 grams of protein each day.
45-Minute Outdoor Walk = 1 Point
Spend at least 45 minutes moving in nature and getting fresh air each day.
No Alcohol = 1 Point
For each day you don’t consume any alcohol, you’ll earn one point. Drink water instead!
Gallon of Water = 1 Point
Each time you finishing drinking one gallon of water, you’ll get one point. Your ounces can roll over into the next day, just like last year. So, if you drink half a gallon on Monday and have a gallon on Tuesday, you’ll clock the point on Tuesday.
Compliant PVF Meal = 1 Point
Receive one point when your day includes at least one compliant PVF meals. PVF means “protein,” “veggie,” and “fat.” To be compliant, a meal must contain an animal protein, a vegetable or fruit, and a “healthy” fat, such as coconut oil or nuts. It cannot contain something that doesn’t fit into these categories, for example rice or a cookie, within a 45-minute window of consuming the meal.
Weekend Bonus Points
In addition to the five possible daily points, you can earn extra points on the weekend. If you hit all your goals on Saturday or Sunday, you’ll get a bonus point!
This challenge begins on September 10, 2021 and runs for five weeks.
The cost is $60 and it’s open to everyone — CPM members and beyond. This is a great time to bring a friend along on your fitness journey!
Rewards include a water jug or t-shirt, as well as changes to win weekly prizes throughout the challenge. Like in the past, you’ll track all of your points and progress in the Wodify Rise app.
